IPTV on Amazon Fire TV Stick: how to install Xtreme IPTV
Most people get stuck at the same point: Fire OS refuses to install anything from outside Amazon’s store. Work through the steps below in order and it goes through.

What you need first
- Your login details, which we email as soon as the order is confirmed: an M3U link, or a server address plus a username and password.
- An internet connection on the device you plan to watch on.
- A measured speed on that device of about 15 Mbps for Full HD, or 25 Mbps for 4K.
Recommended player app
TiviMateby Armobsoft FZE · Google Play — side-loaded on Fire OS
The whole app is designed around a remote control, and its programme guide is a grid you move through with a d-pad. On a television, that is what makes the difference.
More than 5 million downloads, rated 4.2 stars from about 8,360 ratings, most recently updated 22 June 2026. Last checked 4 October 2026.
Armobsoft FZE, the publisher, has no connection to us. Fire OS has no Play Store, so this is the only platform where the app must be side-loaded; support emails you the exact link along with your credentials.
None of these apps are ours, and their developers pay us nothing. Your subscription runs in any player that accepts an M3U link or an Xtream Codes login; we suggest this one only because it performs best on this device in our experience.
Step-by-step instructions
- 1
Permit apps from unknown sources
Starting on the home screen, open Settings, choose My Fire TV, then Developer options, and switch on “Install unknown apps” for the app you will download with. No Developer options entry? Go to Settings, My Fire TV, About, and click the Fire TV Stick line seven times.
- 2
Get the Downloader app
In the Amazon Appstore, search for Downloader and install it. Its job is to fetch installers that the Appstore does not stock.
- 3
Add the player app
Launch Downloader, type in the address support gave you, and let the install run. Before you accept, look at the publisher name on the install screen.
- 4
Sign in with your details
If the app has an Xtream Codes login, use it: enter the server address, the username and the password, each copied exactly from your email. An app that accepts only a playlist takes the M3U link instead — paste that in.
- 5
Switch unknown apps off again
Return to Developer options and turn “Install unknown apps” off. You only needed it to install the player; watching does not require it.
Where most installs go wrong
Leaving the port off the server address. The address has to finish with a colon and a number. Without them the channel list comes up totally empty, and no error tells you what went wrong.
Amazon Fire TV Stick questions
- Does my Firestick need to be jailbroken?
- No. “Install unknown apps” is an option Amazon builds in. Switching it on is not a jailbreak and voids nothing — just turn it back off after the install.
- Which Fire TV models are supported?
- Fire TV Stick, Fire TV Stick 4K, Fire TV Stick 4K Max, Fire TV Cube, and televisions with Fire TV built in. Sticks that are not 4K models (the standard Stick and the Stick Lite) top out at Full HD and cannot display 4K at all.
- Why does it buffer on the Firestick when my phone is fine?
- Nearly always, the Wi-Fi. Tucked behind the television, the stick often sits where the signal in the room is weakest. Move it nearer the router, or connect it with an Ethernet adapter.

Our team is available at any hour. On the 6-month plan and longer, we go through the installation with you on your own device instead of just sending written steps.
