IPTV on iPhone and iPad: how to install Xtreme IPTV

Every iOS app comes from the App Store, so you have nothing to side-load and no setting to change. It takes four steps to start watching.

What you need first

  • Your login details, which we email as soon as the order is confirmed: an M3U link, or a server address plus a username and password.
  • An internet connection on the device you plan to watch on.
  • A measured speed on that device of about 15 Mbps for Full HD, or 25 Mbps for 4K.

App names on iOS get copied constantly. Of the listings we could identify, this one has the most ratings, a named publisher and a recent update.

Free, rated 4.8 stars from about 445,800 ratings, most recently updated 11 September 2026. Last checked 4 October 2026.

A number of App Store listings reuse this name, with different developers behind them. Before installing, make sure the developer line says WHMCS SMARTERS.

None of these apps are ours, and their developers pay us nothing. Your subscription runs in any player that accepts an M3U link or an Xtream Codes login; we suggest this one only because it performs best on this device in our experience.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 1

Get a player from the App Store

Look up an IPTV player and install it. If you would rather not choose among the lookalikes, support will name the one we see working best on current iOS.

  2. 2

Launch it and add your service

Pick either adding a playlist or logging in with a server, a username and a password.

  3. 3

    Sign in with your details

If the app has an Xtream Codes login, use it: enter the server address, the username and the password, each copied exactly from your email. An app that accepts only a playlist takes the M3U link instead — paste that in.

  4. 4

    Let it load

The channel list appears first, then the guide. To watch on the big screen, most players can AirPlay to an Apple TV.

Where most installs go wrong

Getting a lookalike app. A number of App Store listings reuse the same name, each with a different developer behind it. Check the developer line, not only the title.

iPhone and iPad questions

Will it work on Apple TV?
Yes — either AirPlay from an iPhone or iPad, or install a player on the Apple TV itself. Support can point you to one.
Do you provide your own app?
No. What we provide is the subscription, meaning the credentials, and you pick the player. It is also the reason your subscription carries on working if an app is ever pulled.
The app closes as soon as I open it.
That is usually an outdated build running on a current iOS. Remove it, install a different player, and enter the same credentials; nothing needs changing on our end.

Need a hand?

Our team is available at any hour. On the 6-month plan and longer, we go through the installation with you on your own device instead of just sending written steps.
